[In just the last eight months, we saw brutal riots in Kenya, supposedly one of the more stable and Westernized of the black African nations, culminating in the mass murder and incineration of 50 people who had sought refuge in a church; we saw Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia), which under white rule was so prosperous it was known as the “breadbasket of Africa,” hit rock bottom; and now this. How much longer are leftists and liberals going to continue pretending that blacks and whites are inherently the same and that when blacks revert to the savagery of their pre-colonization days, it’s the fault of ‘white racism’? -IA]
10,000 flee South Africa as army is called on to streets to end anti-foreigner violence

More than 10,000 Mozambicans have fled home from South Africa to escape anti-foreigner violence that has killed at least 42 people and left more than 30,000 homeless.
Their escape comes as President Thabo Mbeki ordered the armed forces to quell the unrest for the first time in the country since the end of Apartheid.
Air force helicopters were deployed to back up police in Johannesburg’s Alexandra township over fears the crisis could massively destabilise Africa’s largest economy.
Armed mobs, who have forcefully driven thousands of immigrants from their homes before looting and torching their shacks, accuse them of stealing jobs and fuelling crime.
The violence, which has since spread from Johannesburg to Durban, has also seen the return of necklacing – the brutal practice of filling a tyre with petrol and throwing it over the victim’s neck. [More on necklacing here, here, and here. -IA]
The deadly method has not been seen since the Apartheid era when black South Africans used it on “collaborators” with the white minority rulers.
Fears of attacks have led to thousands of immigrants, mainly from Zimbabwe and Mozambique, fleeing the country.
Mozambique’s Deputy Immigration Director Leonardo Boby today said: “10,047 returned home in buses provided by the government.”
The number is likely to increase in the next days as long as violence unfolds in South Africa.
The deputy leader of the ruling African National Congress, which ousted Mbeki as party leader in December, criticised the police delay in responding to the violence which erupted in Alexandra township on May 11 and spread rapidly.
“The delay encouraged people in similar environments to wage similar attacks against people who came from our sister countries on the continent,” Kgalema Motlanthe said.
“We are confronted by one of the ugliest incidents in the post-apartheid era.”
Mr Motlanthe also said the violence was an assault on the values of South Africa’s democratic society.
He is a close ally of ANC leader Jacob Zuma, who defeated Mbeki for the party leadership.
The attacks on African migrants have increased political instability at a time of power shortages and disaffection over Mbeki’s pro-business policies.
[Imagine if white Americans in the Southwestern United States were to respond this way to the flood of illegal Mexicans, if European-Canadians were to respond this way to the Asians who are colonizing Canada’s West Coast, or if Parisians were to respond this way to the Muslims who have taken over the suburbs of their city. On second thought, maybe this is how whites should respond, since apparently, politicians aren’t going to do anything to stop the invasion. -IA]
Mark Steyn: The Canadian left vs the neo-con Jews
I’ve just been getting up to speed with this Mark Steyn affair:

What’s fascinating about this case is that Canadian Humans Rights Tribunals have for years been trying to deny people such as historical revisionists and white nationalists the right to express their views, and everyone has looked the other way. But now that the Canadian Human Rights Commission is trying to silence a Jew (*) who has been engaging in hate speech against Muslims, there’s a massive outcry about it! Funny how the media Jews didn’t seem to care about free speech until it suddenly occured to them that these hate speech laws could be turned around and used to silence them in their continued efforts to demonize Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians in order to drum up support for the Third World War they and their neo-conservative stooges are trying to start in the Middle East. If these media Jews are so concerned about our civil liberties, then where was all the handwringing about loss of free speech when Indian Chief David Ahenakew was being fined and humiliated by a Canadian court for making anti-Semitic remarks?
Jews were perfectly willing to support hate speech laws as long as those laws were serving Jewish interests. Now that those laws are becoming an impediment to Jewish interests (i.e., to getting the West embroiled in a protracted war against Islam), they want to get rid of them. It’s amazing how members of a group that makes up less than 2 or 3 per cent of the population always wind up setting the agenda for the rest of us.
Well, I shan’t complain. Getting rid of these tribunals and the associated hate speech laws, as well as dismantling the CHRC, would be a major step towards restoring free speech and due process in Canada, even if it’s being done for the wrong reasons.

Canadian schools sent brochures from climate change skeptics

OTTAWA — An American think tank has sent out more than 11,000 brochures and DVDs to Canadian schools urging them to teach their students that scientists are exaggerating how human activity is the driving force behind global warming.
The Chicago-based group, the Heartland Institute, said its goal is to ensure that students are provided with a “balanced” education about “an important and controversial issue,” but critics, including a leading climate scientist, described it as a campaign of misinformation.
The mail out, sent in February, included results from international surveys of climate scientists conducted in 1996 and 2003 along with a 10-minute DVD called Unstoppable Solar Cycles, The Real Story of Greenland.
“It took me a while to figure out what they were up to,” said Eric Betteridge, who teaches at Hillcrest High School in Ottawa.
The Heartland Institute says that it purchased a database list of addresses of 11,250 schools from across the country, including about 10,000 private or faith-based schools, for a massive mail campaign aimed at Canadian children in all provinces.
“All the kids in our schools are being taught that climate change is a serious crisis and that we’ve got to reduce our CO2 and they’re being taught (that) quite falsely,” said Jay Lehr, the science director at the Heartland Institute who sent the package. “We would like to educate people and basically give them the other side of the issue, so we send out materials only in hope of a little balance.”
The Sierra Club of Canada said that the Heartland Institute’s information was far from being balanced. [The Heartland Institute didn’t claim the information they were providing was balanced. They said they were providing the information in order to balance out the one-sided chicken-little environmentalist scare propaganda that’s being disseminated through the schools and the mainstream media. It’s not the same thing. The Heartland Institute has no more of an obligation to be “balanced” in its treatment of global warming than the Sierra Club does.-IA]
“It’s alarming that an American think tank is distributing misinformation on the most important issue of our time in Canadian schools, to actually create an illusion that there is a scientific debate,” said Emilie Moorhouse, a spokeswoman for the environmental group. [This has become the retort of choice for cowards and charlatans who are unwilling or unable to defend or substantiate their assertions. If you can’t beat your opponent in a debate, then just shut him out of it, or better yet, shut down debate altogether.-IA]
The Heartland Institute describes itself as a national nonprofit research and education organization whose mission is “to discover, develop, and promote free-market solutions to social and economic problems. Such solutions include parental choice in education, choice and personal responsibility in health care, market-based approaches to environmental protection, privatization of public services and deregulation in areas where property rights and markets to a better job than government bureaucracies.”
The brochure and DVD said that scientists were “deeply divided” about “the notion that climate change is mostly the result of human activities.” It also suggested that the sun was the main factor behind recent warming recorded on the planet.
The package does not make reference to the conclusions reached by governments and scientists from around the world in their 2007 assessment of the latest peer-reviewed research on climate change. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change wrote in its summary of a Nobel Peace Prize-winning report that global warming is unequivocal and that there is a 90-per-cent chance it is being caused by humans.
After reviewing the Heartland Institute package, Mr. Betteridge said he was left feeling both amused and distressed that someone would try to promote this material to children in the classroom.
“I think I would be concerned because it was well written, and if somebody hadn’t been aware of what the general consensus is among climatologists about global warming, you would begin to think, ‘Wow, somebody’s giving me the wrong story here.”
John Stone, the senior Canadian researcher on the IPCC bureau, said that the 2007 assessment was cautious in its projections about impacts such as melting ice sheets among others.
“If anything, the IPCC assessments are conservative and this one (in 2007) was particularly conservative in hindsight,” said Mr. Stone. “Scientists don’t like to go out on a limb — they don’t like to be alarmist because they feel that they might be proven wrong.” [You can’t get much more alarmist than predicting the end of the world, which several of the IPCC scientist-priests have been doing publicly and with a great flair for drama.-IA]
The IPCC concluded that the contribution of solar variability to recent global warming was about a tenth of the impact of increased greenhouse gases, Mr. Stone said.
The Heartland Institute, which has received $791,000 in funding from Exxon-Mobil since 1998 according to a recent analysis by Greenpeace USA [And where do Greenpeace and the Sierra Club get their funding from, I wonder?-IA], also mailed out its package to 200 influential Canadian decision-makers, including Finance Minister Jim Flaherty.
Moorhouse from the Sierra Club suggested that this might explain why the government has adopted climate change policies that were criticized for being soft on the oil and gas industry.
“It looks like they’re listening to the Heartland Institute and other oil-industry-sponsored think tanks and they’re following their curriculum rather than listening to the vast majority of what the scientific community is saying around the world,” she said. [It’s funny how some seem to believe that arriving at the truth is a democratic process. Don’t judge a theory on its merits, just judge it on how many adherents it has. If enough experts agree that the earth is flat, then the earth must indeed be flat.-IA]
A spokesperson for the Heartland Institute said that no company has ever contributed more than five per cent of the think tank’s total revenues and no industry sector contributed more than 10 per cent of its revenues.
“Nobody buys research,” said Dan Miller, the institute’s executive vice-president and publisher. “That isn’t the way it works. The funding follows the intellectual capacity, the intellectual integrity. It’s not the other way around.”
Although Flaherty’s office sent a letter of acknowledgment to the Heartland Institute confirming that the comments would be brought to the minister’s attention, spokesperson Chisholm Pothier said that the government is not taking advice from people who question climate change.

Germans Now Denying the Holocaust Telepathically, Say Jews

BERLIN (IFPN) — Germany’s Central Council of Jews (ZJD) has demanded “immediate government action” in response to unsettling findings published in its quarterly social trends report, ‘Virulent Anti-Semitism in Germany Today, Issue 1, 2008’.
The report highlights a worrying increase in anti-Semitic sentiment and, more sensationally, the dissemination of holocaust denial “by means of telepathy”.
“It’s very frightening and something I cannot ignore given my horrific ordeal in Auschwitz, which I miraculously survived by hiding in a chimney until the camp was liberated,” says the ZJD’s president, Charlotte Knobloch, who is currently suing Google for editorial control of YouTube.
“Our own success in determining what constitutes suitable viewing for Internet users in Germany has forced us to imagine alternative scenarios available to young people who don’t trust what the government or their teachers are telling them.”
“Never underestimate the power of the Jewish imagination,” she adds.
In Germany, anyone who expresses anti-Semitic sentiments or who queries the holocaust by pointing to pre-war and post-war Jewish population statistics or anomalies in the historical record faces prison sentences of up to five years.
The law, however, is unclear on the issue of telepathically communicated anti-Semitism and holocaust denial.
EXTREMISTS
“We know they’re doing it,” says Stephan Kramer, General Secretary of the ZJD. “They are evading punishment by spreading anti-Semitic propaganda and denying the holocaust without writing a word or moving their lips.”
Although Kramer has dispatched an unspecified number of undercover Hassidic telepaths and kosher ‘sensitives’ briefed with the task of intercepting telepathic communications in streets, bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes, subways, shops, schools, workplaces and other venues where people may choose to express a personal opinion without being overheard by informers, he admits that telepathically communicated holocaust denial is hard to prove.
“But only empirically,” he explains. “Proof is an obsession of those unable to conceive of the truth. In the wrong hands, proof, or a lack of proof, can be misused to establish certain facts incompatible with the truth. Not all facts are factual. What do you want? Another holocaust?”
The German government, anxious to reassure the Jewish community, has moved swiftly to calm fears by allocating six million euros in research grants to the ZJD’s hospitality and personal leisure expenses budget.
“We are doing everything we can to eradicate the scourge of anti-Semitism in Germany and the European Union,” a government spokesman told IFPN. “The government takes very seriously reports that certain extremist elements in our society are engaged in telepathic holocaust denial and we are monitoring the situation closely.”
HUMILIATING
But official assurances came too late for Israeli tourists Shmuel Linsky and his wife, Diane.
“Just the other day I saw a very relaxed German couple with their children spending our reparations money on ice-cream and hot dogs,” says Shmuel scornfully. “They were deliberately and maliciously acting in a way that suggested they were proud to be German, without any sense of shame or guilt. I suddenly felt very threatened by this kind of unspoken anti-Semitism and was overwhelmed by the urge to radio an Israeli F-16 fighter bomber.”
Diane Linsky nods her head in pained agreement. They had decided on an impromptu vacation in Germany after watching Angela Merkel on television deliver an impassioned speech to Israel’s parliament, the Knesset.
“Mrs Merkel said that Germans would do everything they could to help Israel and protect the Jewish people from anti-Semitism,” she says, her voice cracking. “But when we got here we found we had to pay for our own hotel accommodation and none of the restaurants will let us eat for free, even though we’re Jews and have a long and unique history of suffering.”
Shmuel too is overcome by emotion, hardly able to speak. “It’s been humiliating. Even the waiters expect a tip, reminding me of my horrific ordeal in Auschwitz, which I miraculously survived by hiding in a chimney until the camp was liberated,” the 36-year-old Mr Linsky adds bitterly.
The Linskys say they had been made to feel “persecuted” and intend to file a claim for compensation. “In fact, we sued before we came out here,” says Diane. “Our lawyer in Tel Aviv was offering special terms and a 30 percent discount.”
PARANOID
Critics however have blasted the report as “hysterical”, “irresponsible” and “paranoid”.
“Given the long history of hereditary mental illness among people of Jewish descent, I would be inclined to treat reports of telepathically communicated anti-Semitism and holocaust denial with extreme caution,” one of them, a leading professor of evolutionary psychiatry, told IFPN anonymously.
“The Jews have a propensity for telling tall stories and a tendency to exaggerate things they hear, or think they hear. Before taking this much further, the German government would be well-advised to read the wealth of medical literature made available over the past 200 years by Jewish physicians themselves, much of which focuses on the very high percentage of dangerous psychotic illnesses and psychopathological disorders found among Ashkenazi Jews. A good starting point would be the Disability Studies Quarterly, Volume 27, No. 4, published in 2007.”
“Even their top religious people admit they’re nuts. Rabbis Eric Weiss and Nathaniel Ezray have said that ‘mental illness is a Jewish issue’ and point to the findings of geneticists at John Hopkins University who have identified lamentably high incidences of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder among Ashkenazi Jews. Many suffer from an autosomal recessive trait that goes back thousands of years and which manifests as congenital lying, delusional behaviour and paranoia.”
“Unfortunately, instead of being treated in high-security psychiatric hospitals, many of these mentally ill, psychopathic Jews seem to thrive in positions of leadership, spanning the worlds of international finance, the media, academia, law and politics, not only in Europe and Israel, of course, but also in North America and elsewhere.”
“We need to ask ourselves why they’ve been expelled from 109 locations around the world since the middle of the third century, and why we’re allowing them to repeat the cycle over and over again, harming not only themselves but everyone else.”
“I know it’s not a very politically correct thing to articulate,” the professor concludes, “but when it comes to Jews and some of the ludicrous things they say, I’m afraid we’re dealing with some very sick puppies.”
Charlotte Knobloch strongly disagrees. Jews have never harmed anyone, she says.
“The fact that the Jewish people have been expelled from 109 locations around the world doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with the Jewish people or that they are in any way disruptive or insane,” she insists. “On the contrary, all of those countries, for no real identifiable reason, experienced periods of anti-Semitic mass insanity, which spontaneously disappeared the moment we were gone.”
SURVIVORS
Meanwhile, as news breaks that at least a hundred stone-throwing Palestinian children have been either killed or maimed by vigilant Israeli F-16 fighter pilots, the Linskys arrive back in Tel Aviv to an emotional family reception.
Shmuel’s great uncle, Rabbi Dov Bronstein, hugs his relative and can hardly contain his tears: “Even though I was born and raised in New Jersey and never set foot in Europe, I will never forget my horrific ordeal in Auschwitz, which I miraculously survived by hiding in a chimney until the camp was liberated.”
“It’s so good to be home,” says a visibly relieved Diane Linsky. “We flew Lufthansa and we just knew the German pilots and air hostesses were telepathically denying the holocaust and sharing anti-Semitic thoughts with some of the European passengers …. and they were saying, like, you know, ‘Let’s dump those lying Jews out over the Mediterranean’.”
Lufthansa has promised to investigate the allegations.
